Physiotherapy Canberra - How does Physiotherapy help you - Step Into Health Care

How does Physiotherapy help you?

Physiotherapy is patient centred care. We take the time to listen and understand what happened to cause your pain and how this is affecting your life. We collaborate all the information in a treatment from your history, testing process and any lifestyle factors to arrive at a diagnosis. A proper diagnosis guides us to tailoring effective treatment for you, prescribing carefully planned rehabilitation exercises and giving you the best advice possible. This approach looks at the whole body, not just treating your symptoms.

What will treatment involve?

Every problem is unique and every treatment has to reflect how you are changing. There is nothing more rewarding for us to see you feeling better and living your optimal life at home, work, leisure or on the sporting field. So, you can rest assured that everyone receives the Step Into Health Care difference.

If we find that you need something extra beyond our services we will point you in the right direction to one of our established referrers who can help you. If you feel that Physiotherapy is just what you need, or even to get in touch and find out further information about Physiotherapy, give us a call or you can book an appointment online.

What do you need to know about your initial appointment with us?
We always start with an initial consultation which can take up to 60 minutes so we can understand your history and needs, examine you and, depending upon your condition, start treating you.

Please arrive 5 minutes early so you can complete a patient history form and bring along any relevant X-rays, scans or test results that you have.

Depending on the area we are treating you may prefer to wear a comfortable change of clothes. We have clean active wear you can use for your appointment.
