Osteopathy is a form of health care which uses hands-on techniques to diagnose and treat the body. The emphasis of treatment is the whole body, not just the symptoms. Therefore we address structural and movement based dysfunction which may influence various musculoskeletal conditions of the body.
Remedial massage tailored to you, involves treatment of the soft tissues and can be gentle or strong, soft or deep to potentially address a range of issues. Our massage therapists will work with you to identify your areas of musculoskeletal strain and formulate a treatment plan which may help to reduce muscular and soft tissue tension.
Physiotherapy is patient centred care. We take the time to listen and understand what happened to cause your pain and how this is affecting your life. We collaborate all the information in a treatment from your history, testing process and any lifestyle factors to arrive at a diagnosis.
The focus of Pilates involves low impact exercises to strengthen and lengthen muscles at the same time, to improve muscular endurance. This may produce strong overall muscles and core stability without producing bulk. The main emphasis is on core strength which may help overall muscle toning and body control.

Dr Kieran Step, Dr Stefanie Villinger, Dr Thomas Eastman and Louise Adam, Osteopaths along with Yvette Croft and Kody Henry, Massage Therapist, are centrally located in Braddon Canberra.
We work with a hands on approach to create an individual treatment plan to address each patient’s health needs, across a broad age range and differing musculoskeletal problems affecting the body. We may support recovery through treatment, rehabilitation exercise, education and body awareness. All our practitioners are fully qualified and our shared goal is to get you pain free and mobile.
As Osteopaths we utilise a range of techniques which may support the recovery process. Including stretching and massage for treatment of the soft tissues encompassing muscles, tendons and ligaments. Mobilisation or articulation of the joint system. Stretching techniques, cranial Osteopathy, home exercise prescription and general lifestyle advice.
In Australia, Osteopaths are government registered (AHPRA) practitioners who complete a minimum of five years university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general musculoskeletal diagnosis and Osteopathic treatment.
Osteopathy is covered by most private health funds and by Medicare’s Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plans. Osteopaths are registered providers for DVA patients, Comcare, workers’ compensation schemes and motor accident insurers.
